That is again, in support of the initiatives of DICT to provide digital connectivity to the underserved and unserved areas of the Philippines. So we’re here to support all initiatives of the DICT pertaining to that. Thank you very much.”

Moreover, this initiative is also a partnership between the private sector and public agencies towards a common goal – to provide accessible, affordable, and available Internet services nationwide. InfiniVAN Director, Shigeki Nakahara expressed, ”We are very honored to be here with all of you. We promise to provide our best service. Thank you very much.”

The agency’s aim will be to empower with the right connectivity sources and tools that will nurture digital transformation and adaptation in the country. As stated by DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy, “With ICT tools and connectivity, we are providing more Filipinos the opportunity to participate in the digital transformation and digital journey that we all must share in this fourth industrial [revolution]. We need to equip all Filipinos with the needed skills as well as the needed tools that may potentially transform not only their personal lives but also their communities as well.”
