Held last February 23, 2023 was the official contract-signing of InfiniVAN Inc. together with Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation or FBDC for the augmentation of new underground facilities for cable laying within Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. The contract has been officially signed by InfiniVAN Engr. Edgardo A. Opulencia, COO and FBDC Alfonso Javier D. Reyes, COO. It was also attended by InfiniVAN’s executives, Shigeki Nakahara, Director, and Valenbert Juan, CFO, together with FBDC executives, Ma. Lourdes R. Reyes, CFO and Rosella L. Due to the timely need for the augmentation of already existing underground facilities of BGC, InfiniVAN took the initiative to partner with Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation for this project also known as “Project Labyrinth”. What was then a vision has finally become a reality, through this 25-kilometer underground facility which was planned out already for more than a year. The execution was already done in September of last year and will continue to progress for the next three years. This project aims to cater all types of customers, including the top 1,000 corporations and the residents currently living in Bonifacio Global City.

“[InfiniVAN Inc.] Being a Japanese company and knowing the Japanese way of providing service, I believe what we would like to do here is pattern the 1-Fiber, 1-Customer approach or similar to that, and maximize the use of fiber optic facilities to reach more customers be it residential or corporate or government. With this project, we can now have access to our targeted customers,” said Engr. Opulencia when asked about his expectations from the partnership with FBDC.

Through the initiation of Engr. Edgardo Opulencia, COO, along with Chief Technology Officer Alberto Espedido and Legal Counsel Atty. Jonathan Altubar for the planning and support for this project, Bonifacio Global City is now one step closer to attaining InfiniVAN’s international-grade and guaranteed internet services.
