QUEZON CITY – Japan-affiliated telecommunications company, InfiniVAN, Inc. seals its official partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (DICT – CICC) on its ribbon-cutting event held last June 23, 2023, at CICC Compound in Quezon City.
The “Public-Private Sector Partnership Activation of 200 GBPS Internet Connectivity by InfiniVAN”, was inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting event which intends to deliver and provide a 200Gbps in the capacity of Fiber Optic Internet Connectivity as a Proof of Concept or POC to the DICT CICC’s government portal handle, GovNet.
Said partnership aims to deliver fast and reliable connectivity in the government sector in supporting its mission towards digitalization with available and sustainable Internet connectivity in the Philippines.
During the event, DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy mentioned that the large capacity of InfiniVAN’s bandwidth takes a huge role in the agency’s activities and campaigns, and can be a game changer when it comes to delivering taxes to the Internet. Moreover, Sec. Uy acknowledged InfiniVAN’s courtesy and support to the government agencies like the DICT that continuously improve and go along with the technology needs of the country.
With InfiniVAN’s POC at the DICT, the agency will be able to assess and evaluate further its capabilities and capacities in powering up the government’s gear, GovNet in boosting reliable and competitive connectivity here in the country.
